Toby Young on Radio 3 with Jess Gillam – Orchestra of St John's | Taking classical music out into the community

Toby Young on Radio 3 with Jess Gillam

Our Composer-in-Residence Toby Young discusses the music he loves with Jess Gillam!
Listen again – BBC Radio 3, 12.30pm on 17 July.

It has been a joy to work with Toby over the past few years on projects including Journey and Many Worlds in One Place, collaborations with young refugee poets from Oxford Spires-Academy. Toby’s award-winning music explores the boundaries between pop music, classical music and sonic art, and has been performed by artists from London Symphony Orchestra to BBC Singers.

We look forward to further fruitful collaborations with Toby and to hearing more about his musical favourites this lunchtime!
