Audience feedback to our summer fundraising concert – Orchestra of St John's | Taking classical music out into the community

Audience feedback to our summer fundraising concert

Bravo to Jan and Tim. And to Chris and John the recording engineers.

‘Wonderful performance! I also enjoyed the introductions as well as the tour of the gardens.’ Andre Mensch

‘We have missed the live concerts, but are most grateful not only for the splendid concert, but also for the guided tour of the garden, some of which we have never seen. Thank you, Robert and Caroline, for making this possible!’ Bonnie Blackburn and Leofranc Holford-Strevens.

‘Bravo, wonderful!’  Paul Blezard

‘Yes I watched the concert. Entrancing throughout.  The sound on my computer was perfect, and I loved the setting.  Camera work could not have been better.

Slight imperfection in sound quality during the conversation between John and Jan, but that simply highlighted the outstanding quality of everything else. Robert’s enthusiasm for his garden was endearing and his modesty showed that he wears his good fortune unassumingly.   Congratulations to the producers of this wonderful program.  I hope that the concept of playing music in lovely surroundings is repeated .

There must be rich men with beautiful homes queuing up to be invited.’  Eric Payne
