Support from Derrill Allat Foundation – Orchestra of St John's | Taking classical music out into the community

Support from Derrill Allat Foundation

We are delighted to announce that the Derrill Allat Foundation has awarded OSJ a grant towards our Displaced Voices project in November.

The project engages with refugees and asylum seekers through hands-on creative musical practices, gives voice to their experiences through musical composition and performance, and supports cultural integration.  The grant from the Derrill Allat Trust will fund a rehearsal day which is planned for the autumn.
