What the Press Say

"The Orchestra of St John's gave an outstanding performance in only two works and played with such intensity and drive that any additional music would have overwhelmed their impact."

About the Orchestra of St John's

Founded by John Lubbock, Artistic Director, the Orchestra of St John's has been one of the most inspiring orchestras in the country for over 40 years. Everyone involved with the OSJ believes that although our players are some of the most exceptional musicians in the country, this does not mean that what we do is in any way exclusive: the music we perform should be for everyone. This ethos has underpinned the Orchestra's vast breadth of activity from spellbinding concerts all over the UK - even recording award-winning rock albums - to our Offstage community projects including Music for Autism, school workshops and Moving Music.
