NEW TICKETS RELEASED FOR 8pm PERFORMANCE
Composed in memory of the Fauré's father and performed at the composer's own funeral, Fauré’s gorgeous Requiem speaks of a better world beyond this one. Its uplifting melodies and serene character will be performed alongside Brahms' beautiful, ethereal Songs for Female Voices, Horns and Harp.
Reflecting some of the key questions of our time, including the environment and social equality, this multisensory performance will present live OSJ’s newest commissions for string orchestra and film, Many Worlds in One Place, Earth Flow and Reaching Water. Alongside will sit gorgeous music by some of the silver screen's finest composers including Shostakovich and John Williams, as well as Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel, accompanied by film and live artwork created in response to the music.
Robert and Caroline Jackson host a fundraising evening of music and dinner.
'Dr Burney's musical tour of Germany'
Music by J S Bach, C P E Bach, Handel, Mozart and Frederick the Great
