Virtuoso violinist Jan Schmolck performs Mendelssohn’s iconic violin concerto. This thrilling and emotional piece is accompanied by Mendelssohn’s symphonic poem, the Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave), and his Symphony No. 5 ‘Italian’.
