OSJ Oxford Voices

OSJ Oxford Voices

OSJ Oxford Voices (originally OSJ Ashmolean Voices) were formed in 2011 to perform in OSJ’s Ashmolean Proms series: they sing three to four concerts a year. The choir is Oxford-based, and is made up of a mix of talented amateur and professional singers. Our singers’ professions are diverse, including academics, doctors, psychologists, teachers, accountants, priests, and of course some full time students! OSJ prides itself on being an ‘ego-free zone’, and the singers are selected not only for vocal ability but also for musical sensitivity, intelligence and blend. Rehearsals and performances are a lot of fun.

Rachel O’Mahony is the choir coordinator.
