Friends and Supporters

Let's be Friends

We all value having friends in our lives and the Orchestra of St John's is no different. By signing up as a Friend for as little as £100, you are not only giving financial support to us, but letting the musicians, conductor and staff know that you appreciate the music we bring to the areas where we work.

Supporters

If you'd like to donate more than £100, we are also offering the chance to support our Principal players' chairs. For a minimum donation of £500 you can be a listed as a supporter of a Principal Player's Chair of your choice, for £750 you can be a Leader's Chair supporter and for £1,000 you will be listed as a Conductor's Podium supporter.



If you are a UK taxpayer and you are willing to gift aid your donation then as a registered charity the Orchestra is able to claim a 20% tax rebate on your donation at no extra cost or inconvenience to you.

A Big Thank You

And what do you get in return for your donation? We think you'll want every penny of your money to go towards enabling the music so we don't offer any gimmicks or ticket discounts. What you do get is an acknowledgement of your support in our programmes as well as our grateful thanks. If you are an Orchestra Chair Supporter then there will also be selected opportunities to meet the player whose chair you are supporting.

Perhaps the best benefit of all is the knowledge that you've helped the Orchestra's work to continue and grow. Just the sort of Friend we need!
