Meet the Orchestra
The Musicians
Julian Farrell - Clarinet
Julian Farrell studied the clarinet at the Royal College of Music and Akademie für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna. Since entering the profession in 1971, he has become recognised as one of London's foremost clarinettists, playing with most of the leading orchestras and chamber ensembles. Julian is a committed teacher and since 1995 has been a professor of clarinet at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A frequent broadcaster, he has made several CDs, most notably with the Elysian Wind Quintet, the Fibonacci Sequence and the English Chamber Orchestra Wind Ensemble. |
