Music for Autism
Music for Autism was set up by the Orchestra of St John's Artistic Director John Lubbock and his wife Christine Cairns in 2002. The charity organise a huge number of events for individuals with autism and their families. OSJ often works together with M4A to provide musicians for sessions at schools, centres and care homes.
ABO
The Association of British Orchestras is the national body representing the collective interests of professional orchestras throughout the UK . The ABO organise seminars and conferences which allow us to talk to our colleagues at other orchestras and learn from each other's experiences so we get better at what we do. There's some great advice on this website for people looking to get into arts administration - we recommend their 'Where do I start?' seminars.
Dorchester Abbey
The beautiful Abbey in Dorchester-on-Thames in Oxfordshire is home to the Orchestra of St John's Music Festival held every September. OSJ also perform at the Abbey at Christmas and Easter.
